CHARTER STANDARD

Darlington Spraire Lads & Lasses have been awarded Charter Standard Club stats by the Football Association. By achieving this award, the club is demonstrating to all members, parents, and the public that we are a well organised, safe club offering opportunities for all. The 'hidden' benefits are also an excellent way of promoting the club to potential members, parents, volunteers and sponsors.

Charter Standard ensures the club uses skills of our member to fulfil key roles within the club. The club has been a pioneer to develop girls football and has over thirty girls attending training. Next season the club will run 17 teams including 2 men's teams and 3 girls teams.

The Club maintains a firm policy on Child Protection and has organised an FA Coaching Certificate course this year.

The club encourages coaches to qualify to a higher level, with Mark Scott gaining UEFA "A" Award.
